Maddog MD82 lights issue

Post by sarrisk » Mon Nov 03, 2008 4:11 pm

A question to developers :
In the new client the known problem regarding landing lights in MD82 aircraft still exists ! Are you going to solve it ? Is there a trick to bypass the problem for flying with no penalties ?

Why not just put a light switch on your panel.

Solution #1, offered by Stan.
Solution #2, keep gear down until 1200 feet AGL
Solution #3, if possible assign a hot key to landing lights via FS or FSUIPC
Solution #4, try SGA :)

Thanks
I choose Solution #3. I'll try this via FSUIPC. Sounds interesting

There is nothing for us to fix. The problem is with the developer of the aircraft making a choice not to produce the aircraft in accordance with the Microsoft specifications for how an airplane is to be built for Flight Simulator. They may tell you that it "makes it more realistic", but all it does is create more demand on your computer because it makes your computer make up for their inability to simply understand the software and use it to their advantage instead of (in short) hacking the program to make it work through brute force instead of doing it the right way.

there is a simple solution if you dont need to have the fmc and all the goodies... you could put a default panel in it, and that stops that from happening... what what i did for the flight1 md-80
