When flying on vatsim, use your call sign or the flight number. Our call sign is "ROAD RUNNERS " followed by your Pilot Number, or flight number if you choose. Doing this will eventually allow our vatsim partnership.
If you want to improve your pilot rating, and get 100% perfect flights, here are a few tips.
Taxing, keep speed below 30, I usually taxi at 20.
Taking off and landing, Landing lights on below 1000 AGL (above ground level)
Turn off Landing lights crossing 9000 feet.
Speed, keep you speed at or below 250 Knots below 11,000. PMDG 737s and other Payware aircraft will automatically slow down at 11,000.
New pay system, Pilots Pay rating is based off how much they fly per month. So, if you do the minimum of 1 flight a month, you will stay where you are, if you do at least one per week you will increase to the next level, if you do less then 1 flight a month you will now decrease. This is based on the idea of how valuable we are you to and you are to us. So, for those that don't care, you will loose, but those that do great, we will reward.
All pilot will need to be rated for the aircraft, if you have experience, no problem, but if you going to fly something new, then you'll need to do some training flights to get the rating.
